OBJECTIVE:

This project was inspired by ancient African blades and their uses. Throughout the centuries, many blades of the region were created with unique shapes. My challenge was to create a font that could simulate these shapes while being practical for design. As a result, the typeface was created with two different weights inspired by traditional blade uses: Battle and Ceremony. The files for the typeface can be found here.
